Bluejacket is officially opening its doors tonight. The highly anticipated brewery and restaurant is owned by the Neighborhood Restaurant Group and sports 20 original beers and five cask brews. I had a chance to shoot a private event at Bluejacket last week for the Washington Examiner. I took one look around (and a few sips) and knew that it would make some of my friends very happy. What’s more, the menu for Arsenal was created in part by Tiffany MacIsaac, the woman running the show at Buzz Bakery (um, yes!). It’s a beautiful venue – totally gutted and renovated from a warehouse and is a prime example of how the Navy Yard area continues to quickly change.
