Field Day | School’s Out for Summer

It’s the end of the school year for most of the junior and senior high students that I work with. For some it means the end of high school altogether, and, after watching them grow up for 4 years, all I can do is tell them how exciting college will be.

We teamed up with two other youth groups from local churches to host a field day full of ridiculous games and grilled burgers. “What on earth are these people doing” you ask? Among standards like a water balloon toss, we added in challenges from NBC’s Minute To Win It like “Face the Cookie” and “Junk in the Trunk”. I thoroughly recommend that you give them a try and hope that you too are taking full advantage of summer.
